The Game (Queen tribute ensemble ) is a band made up of a vast array of Maltese musicians and singers who came together in 2014 for Malta's first ever Freddie For a Day held at Hard Rock Cafe',a worldwide event commemorating Freddie Mercury and helping to raise funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust. 

The audience's positive reaction and after-gig comments from the crowd,organizers and music critics meant that this could not be a one off gig! The Game (Queen tribute band) was here to stay! 

The band returns to the stage for this prestigious event filled with world famous guests from various entertainment industries


At the moment this 20 + ensemble includes musicians from various bands including 12th Ode,26 Other Worlds,Cinnamon War,Different Strings,Purple Haze,Fire,Mojo,Scar,The Creepers,Xarulu' and solo artists like Carmelo 'lello' Ebejer,Melissa Caruana,Rachel Tedesco Triccas, Kenneth Calleja,Chris Grech and Tiziana Calleja.

Scar

Formed in mid-2001, Scar released their debut album in 2003. The 13 tracks were produced by well-respected local producer, David Vella (Philip Boa, Beangrowers). The end result was very encouraging - the first single "Time to Know" topped the Maltese radio charts and was given top billing on Italian radio station RAI UNO, also being used for three months as a signature tune for one of their programmes.
